Cedric Miller, Altron’s chief financial officer, has resigned from the JSE-listed group, effective from 30 June 2021.

Miller will also be stepping down as an executive director of the Altron board after tendering his resignation today, which was accepted.

Alton says Miller will continue to support the group until 31 July 2021, during which time he will provide a comprehensive handover to Altron’s acting CFO.

“The board has accepted Mr Miller’s resignation and would like to express sincere appreciation to him for his service and wish him well in his future endeavours.”

Miller joined Altron in 2019, boasting more than 27 years of financial and accounting experience, having worked extensively in global investment and retail banking.

Altron also announced that 39-year-old Nicholas Bofilatos will be taking over as acting CFO effective from 1 July 2021.

Altron says Bofilatos has held various positions within the Altron Group from 2019, with his most recent position as the finance executive for change management for the Altron Group’s head of central finance.

It adds: “His prior positions include CFO, finance director and company secretary for Ctrack (previously Digicore Holdings) and senior manager of assurance at Ernst & Young.

“Bofilatos has over 15 years’ experience in finance leadership positions. He holds a BCom degree from the University of Pretoria; BCompt honours and Certificate in Theory of Accountancy from UNISA and he is a chartered accountant.”
