The the annual gathering of SA's cyber security decision makers will once again deliver three days of presentations, workshops, panel discussions and a virtual exhibition, providing a thorough update on the latest cyber security threats, challenges and solutions. This years theme is ‘Reimagining security to build digital resilience and trust’ and the call for papers is open.

Lisa Lawlor, events director at ITWeb, says events of this nature are more critical than ever.

“The world is transforming at a pace more rapid than we could have imagined. Digital resilience is key to surviving change and to maintaining trust, ensuring that business, as well as the entire societies and economies, can continue to function even in the face of the pandemic."

Once again, the event will feature more than 50 leading international, African and local speakers, including six international keynotes from the UK, Cyprus and Australia. They will discuss a slew of topics, ranging from how well our security systems have stood up (or not) to the increased threats we are facing on a daily basis, to what is really required to ensure digital trust and build resilience.

“This year’s summit promises to be the best one yet,” says Lawlor. “Our host of international and local speakers will cover a range of topics and best practices for digital security, AI, IOT, zero trust, DevSecOps and many more. Delegates will hear how to evolve their IT security, risk and governance strategy to support their business, and protect the ecosystems in the new work of work.”

This annual information and cyber security event continues to build on its legacy as the ‘must-attend’ gathering for IT, security and business decision-makers.

“Anyone who is serious about ensuring excellence in information and cyber security to the benefit of his or her organisation and the security community as a whole, simply cannot afford to miss it,” says Lawlor.
