Pretoria, 22 May 2018

The Wireless World Research Forum (WWRF) brings together representatives from industry and academia from across the globe, with a strong focus on emerging economies.

Members of the WWRF discuss how new insights will affect network implementation, services, applications and value chain in future markets.

The WWRF organises two meetings and a 5G Huddle every year to discuss critical business and technology issues impacting the connected society. The 40th meeting of the WWRF will be in partnership with the Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR). It will take place in Durban from 31 May to 1 June.

The emphasis will be on the system-wide validation of the 5G technologies under the theme: "5G and broadband connectivity for all".
